Project description "Frankfurt"

New perspectives.

A large catalpa tree is the eye-catcher at the new HUF showhouse near Frankfurt. This existing tree was gently integrated into the new garden and can be illuminated during night time.

The big wooden terrace made of oak wood enlarges the living room, harmonically connects house and garden house and intentionally picks up the materials that are used inside the show house. Besides the oak wood slate stone was used in all parts of the garden design: as terrace slabs, decorative gravel and building bricks. This dark grey stone marvellously contrasts with the white HUF house. A rolling dry stone wall made of slate stone as well as steel enclosures in descending steps help overcome the level differences.

A planting in shades of white and green emphasizes the impression of the overall garden area. White daffodil flowers in the lawn represent the first garden highlight in early spring. Accurately cut hornbeam hedges frame the plot from two sides and create a low and calm garden background. A red gate invites to enter the garden through the hedge and arouses people’s curiosity for new perspectives. Filigree red steles screen from obtrusive views and create a comfortable atmosphere. The red colour is recurring inside the house within the kitchen and furniture.

Stones and planting are interlocked by different stripes of lawn and slate as well as by scattered green box balls which offer an intersting view from the house and terrace areas.
