Project description "Hartenfels III"

Contemporary garden.

Although it is designed in a contemporary way, the garden fits perfectly in the surrounding environment. Several old trees and an existing wall were integrated in the new garden design.
The future reception-building is framed all around by a floating terrace that is made of large sized concrete slabs. A ramp made of granite cobblestone is leading to the main entrance.
A floating stairway, which is the highlight of the garden, is situated between the two old oak trees that were already standing on the plot before the house was built.
The single steps seems to be floating between some huge basalt rocks. The stairway is surrounded by a perennial planting area that could also be found in the forest.
Behind the building and framed by the old existing wall an Asian garden with huge gravel areas, moss hills and a water basin with a bench, is located.
